 Semana de fofura animal aqui no blog. Porque este cronista sempre se vê como um cão vadio aos pés de uma mulher-abismo.

Porque os animais de estimação, repito ao infinitum, são mais importantes no amor do que supõe a nossa vã filosofia. Importantíssimos.

Já terminei romances em que fiquei com tanta saudade da ex quanta da sua gata, do seu gato, do seu cachorro e até dos ratos que roeram as nossas vestes do desejo mútuo.

Quando ainda morava no sertão ficava morrendo de amor pelos veados, sim, meu pai sempre foi um grande caçador de tais bichos nas pradarias dos Inhamuns –crime prescrito, brava gente do Ibama, nesse tempo nem se falava em tais proibições.

Morria de amores também pelos tejus, timbus, macacos e ainda pela gordas patas, as nossas Fups, que se arrastavam na lama em anos de chuva.

Também já ocorreu de conquistar mulheres, ou pelo menos consolidar boas histórias amorosas, por demonstrar carinho e afeto com os bichanos. Como sair de casa altas horas da madrugada para comprar a ração do felino. E de quebra, trazer um patê especial para o danado.

Sim, o amor passa pelos bichos, eu acredito.

Uma mulher que afaga e trata bem o meu cachorro, sendo que às vezes o cão vadio possa ser eu mesmo, uma mulher que brinca de “never more” com o meu corvo Edgar, que diz sacanagens ao meu papagaio Florbé, que faz uma graça para o meu bode Ressaca… Essa mulher marca pontos importantíssimos, além de fazer o necessário na cartilha do amor mais franciscano.

Claro que essa forma de ver o amado ou a amada nos seus animais de estimação pode gerar também pequenos desastres, catástrofes nem sempre naturais. Uma amiga do Rio, por exemplo, evitava as gracinhas do cão do seu ex sempre que ele aprontava. Chegava a ser indelicada, grosseira, como se visse naquele labrador as pisadas na bola do seu dono.

Além de tudo isso, pelos animais que possui se conhece mais um pouco um homem. Sério. O cara que cria um gato tem muito mais chance de ser um homem sensível, embora até enfrente um certo preconceito entre os seus amigos ditos mais machos.

O homem que passeia orgulhosamente com o seu pitbull pode até não ser um monstro, mas aquela focinheira já diz um pouco do seu dono. Não que o cão tenha alguma culpa, ele está no mundo dele.

Mas voltemos aos gatos, esses metafísicos e misteriosos animais. Como eles dizem tudo sobre o amor e sobre nós. O casal briga e eles incorporam o barraco. Vão lá e quebram tudo, reviram o mocó-saló de cabeça pra baixo.

Na harmonia e no amor intenso, lá está ele, sempre aos nossos pés. Como eles adoram ver e sentir os cheiros da hora do sexo. Uns voyeuristas. Eles se enroscam na cama depois das nossas melhores noites. Cumprimentam-nos pelo afeto e pela performance. Um belo “miau” de parabéns, como se dissesse, a nos arranhar de leve, estão vendo como o amor pode dar certo, seus cães danados?!
