Sexta-feira é dia de etiqueta amorosa no blog. Você ali concentrado(a) para a noite reflete, por exemplo, sobre os bons modos de macho.

Você sabe que o cavalheirismo está quase morto. Agoniza. Sente alguma falta? Ou nem?

Não quero julgar se é bom ou ruim. Pode representar, pelo menos simbolicamente, mais um avanço do mulherio, que não carece desse tal código do bom-tom dos homens.

Elas se viram e talvez estes pequenos gestos sejam obsoletos, inúteis, demodês como uma guarânia da Perla.

Sem essa de puxar a cadeira, abrir a porta do carro, sem essa de cumprimentar uma dama como uma dama de fato –e sim com o punho fechado à moda dos manos.

Tenho muitas amigas, e não tão conservadoras assim, que se ressentem dos bons modos masculinos e nutrem uma certa nostalgia da delicadeza perdida. Outras nem tomaram conhecimento de tais sensíveis modos e vivem muito bem sem isso, são moças de emplacamento anos 1980, 90. Lolas independentes futebol clube.

Lembrei agora de um conselho do jornalista e escritor P.J.O’Rourke, no livro “Etiqueta Moderna –finas maneiras para gente grossa”, tradução do Aran, ed. Conrad:

“Quando você vai ao encontro de um homem é perfeitamente aceitável que você deixe claro que trabalha mais duro, é mais bem sucedida e ganha muito mais do que ele. Mas você deve levar em consideração que ele precisa manter algum respeito próprio. Devido a isso, não importa o quanto você ganhe, permita que ele pague todas as contas.”

O que você acha, amigo? Precisa desse gesto para resgatar o papel perdido de provedor? Ou racha na buena, sem maiores angústias testosterônicas?

But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?
