10 sóbrios motivos para ver `Diário de um jornalista bêbado´

Aprecio a lenda gringa Hunther S.Thompson (1937-2005) até a tampa da última garrafa de rum do Caribe.

É o cara do chamado jornalismo gonzo, gênero sem moderação, feito à custa de uma consciência adulterada –por álcool inclusive- e muito faro para a grande narrativa em primeira pessoa.

Em suma: tudo que o caretérrimo periodismo da taba tupi,que perdeu o tino de contar história, carece nesse momento para atrair o leitor.

Talvez por causa desse gosto exagerado pela lenda Thompson, tenho agora um olhar sóbrio, chato e ranzinza sobre o filme “The rum diary”, em cartaz nos cinemas como “Diário de um jornalista bêbado”.

O filme do diretor Bruce Robinson é certinho demais para a gonzolândia mental de H.S.T. Veja trailer aqui. É paisagem caribenha e chistes de quem tomou apenas três doses. Ninguém beija o chão nem os pés das mulheres.

Mesmo considerando que se trata de uma ficção do velho repórter, cujo alterego é um jovem freelancer nômade batizado como Paul Kemp, a película vacila em não se parecer com o seu grande personagem real.

Mas meus jovens leitores, por favor, esqueçam tudo que escrevi, como diria um sóbrio ex-presidente que fumava mas não tragava, e vejam o filme.

Deixo-lhes aí, amigos, boas razões otimistas que valem o ingresso, noves fora o meu desânimo de abstêmio forçado até a essa hora:

1) Depois do filme, você vai querer ler o livro. É sensacional. Tem uma edição de banca, da L&PM, com tradução que faria Thompson pagar todas para o Daniel Pellizari, o cara responsável pelo feito.

2) Johnny Depp,na pele do homem-gonzo, está aquela coisa competente que fazem vocês, meninas, soltarem gritinhos.

3) Gostosa e linda mesmo, porém, é a galeguinha Amber Heard, mulher de um jornalista chato, mas doida pelo bonitón da fita.

4) A melhor das razões: você pode sair do cinema, jovem calouro, e desistir de ser jornalista. Já pensou que vantagem?

5) A pior: você pode sair louco para encher a cara e contar histórias malucas. Aí não terá mais cura.

6) Saiba, no entanto, que Hunther S.Thompson era um bêbado, mas nem todo bêbado é Hunther S.Thompson.

7) Seja qual for a escolha, o amigo vai virar um leitor da obra gonza. Bela vantagem.

8) Se você já estiver no ramo e for aventureiro, corre o risco de ser demitido de tanto encher o saco do chefe para emplacar uma matéria na linha do gonzo, o que é praticamente impossível.

9) Você pode ver depois todos os filmes e livros da vida do cara e querer imitá-lo radicalmente. Cuidado. Thompson, viciado em armas de fogo, suicidou-se com um tiro no coco.

10) Os idiotas da objetividade sempre vencem e têm melhores salários. É outra grande lição. Você desiste?

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

I have learned some new things as a result of your site. One other thing I’d like to say is that newer pc operating systems often allow far more memory to get used, but they likewise demand more memory space simply to function. If a person’s computer could not handle a lot more memory and also the newest software package requires that storage increase, it may be the time to buy a new Laptop. Thanks
