Foi com pesar, e algumas lágrimas envelhecidas em barris de carvalho, que vimos agorinha, no programa TV Folha [na Cultura], o ator José Mayer anunciar a sua despedida do papel de “predador” na televisão brasileira.
Golpe mortal no que chamamos de macho-jurubeba, a antítese e resposta nostálgica ao metrossexualismo.
Os machoes dançaram, caro Mayler, bem que te avisei.
Segundo Mayer, Pereirinha (Fina Estampa) foi a última missão do gênero. O matador is dead.
Se a teledramaturgia está 100% dominada pelas mulheres como protagonistas, como me soprou outro dia o diretor Nilton Travesso -gênio da história da tv brasileira-, imagina agora.
Faz-se um silêncio de mil catedrais, como diria o tio Nelson.
A entrevista de Mayer à colunista Mônica Bergamo você pode rever aqui. Eu sigo com a minha homenagem permanente e repetida ao homem, ao mito, ao insubstituível carcará dos dramalhões nacionais.
Mesmo com a despedida, é da costela mineira de Zé Mayer que Deus tenta refazer o macho de raiz, o predador roots, aquele bípede hoje catalogado como perdido ou em avançado processo de extinção.
O que Deus tenta reparar com a costela do Zé é o homem do pré-metrossexualismo, sem frescuras, um bruto correto que amava as mulheres, ponto.
Não está sendo fácil, mas é uma boa e derradeira aposta do Criador, que anda mesmo desgostoso com flexibilidade da macheza e do caráter da sua pioneira criatura.
Vox populi, vox Dei. A voz do povo é a voz de Deus. Foi preciso o clamor das ruas –de corpo presente e em missas virtuais- para que fosse tomada a providência divina.
O clamor em torno do tiozão revela uma certa nostalgia da macheza. Arriscamos a mínima moral do boteco. Para as meninas de todas as idades, o cara é uma resposta aos vacilos e ao medinho do homem atual sem pegada, sempre na espreita, confuso –“eu tô cafuso”,como diria o velho Didi Mocó.
Toda essa minha lenga-lenga tipo David Cooperfield, queridos sobrinhos, não passa de freudianismo engarrafado, psicanálise de botequim, mas vão por mim, o Mayer é do ramo e Deus há de conseguir restaurar o seu Adão a partir desta costela.
Do contrário, para conhecer o que foi o macho na história, teremos mesmo que exumar o camarada Humphrey Bogart.
Volta, Zé, volta, a missa televisa dos lares carece de você!
