A incrível luta da fêmea e o cabelo

Curto essas pesquisas malucas sobre comportamento. Vi uma agora no site TodaEla que é um primor: as mulheres passam 26 anos da vida sofrendo com os cabelos.
A pesquisa foi publicada originalmente, neste mês, pelo jornal “Daily Mail”.
Acordar com o cabelo rebelde é o que pega, amigo, seja ela uma perua ou a mais moderna e cool das garotas londrinas.
O estudo me fez lembrar de uma praga que roguei, por escrito, a uma ex. Aqui compartilho:
Nada pior para uma mulher que acorda em uma peleja sem fim com as madeixas. E tem dia que não adianta: as leis cósmicas conspiram contra os fios do cocuruto feminino e não há milagre que dê jeito.
Seja ela de que religião ou corrente filosófica.
Não era nem o caso da desalmada em jogo, que sempre soube dá um toque sublime e ligeiro no penteado.
É que nos últimos dias do nosso romance, a testemunhei em uma peleja contra uns fios da franja que vou te contar, que embate!, me lembrou a luta do século, Muhammad Ali X George Foreman (1974), que ficou mais incrível ainda quando narrada pelo escritor Norman Mailer.
Uma guerra contra o franjão desobediente!
Ela querendo sair para o trabalho e nada dava jeito na revolta capilar inesquecível.
No momento até tentei ajudá-la, com o máximo possível que um homem pode fazer nesse momento: dar uma força, um incentivo moral e torcer para que os deuses capilares amansem as suas fúrias e tempestades.
Calma, calma, calma… e tudo ficou nos conformes.
Inevitável foi rogar essa praga ao final da nossa história.
Por mais que tenha o capítulo da decisão da roupa, também fundamentalíssimo para o gênero feminino, nada, porém, que se compare com os cabelos.
No vestuário dá-se um jeito, um truque. Nos cabelos, não. É um sofrimento. Com ou sem grana.
Porque se a madame vai no melhor salão da cidade, também volta ao lar doce lar com a juba até lisa, mas cheia de interrogações em todas as pontas. Com ou sem chapinha. Black-power, crespo, seja qual for a pegada e o estilo.
E muitas vezes, meu caro, acaba sobrando para nós, dedicados marmanjos. É duro ter que pagar pelos fios revoltos da moça.
O pior é quando ela faz uma pequeníssima mudança no corte, uma aparadinha de nada, e pretende que a gente dê conta da suposta metamorfose. É osso.
Mas o que fazer, como indagaria o velho Lênin?
Nada.
Sem ela não pode ser.

The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
