Agora o vício são as séries intermináveis.

Coisas da vida, coisas de blog, meu guru Kurt Vonnegut.Vamos começar agora mais uma. Não tem jeito. A série dos bares mais charmosos do planeta.

E um bar/restaurante pode ser bom mesmo sendo ruim e pode ser ruim mesmo sendo o Fasano.

Não depende de frescura, depende de espírito.

O Guanabara, um estabelecimento cinquentenário da cidade do Crato, no sul do Ceará, é bom e tem seus defeitos, mas possui o maior charme para um flanêur, um bôemio: é o único bar do mundo sem portas.

Quero ver alguém com a gracinha de tentar fechá-lo, como se achasse o grande bebedor do mundo. Não perde nem para o bar Esperança do Carvana.

Nunca fechou em 54 anos de vida.

E não ter portas não é uma imagem poética. Não tem portas mesmo. Inclusive para não cometer o vil descuido –tem sempre um desavisado- de fechá-lo nunca.

Seu Neném, 82, o dono desde os 29, fez uma promessa: vai manter o bar como o único que não fecha no mundo.

E aí, Nova York, o que dizer do vanguardismo?

Só no Crato!

É só chegar na rua Monsenhor Esmeraldo, 853, no centro da cidade e comprovar o que sempre recomprovei na vida.

Outra qualidade do estabelecimento. Lá convivem do maluco que entra pedindo uma grana pra derradeira fubuia às autoridades constituídas.

Do amigo Chamex ao cineasta pernambucano Claudio Assis em busca, segundo ele mesmo, de um filme.

Não curti a reforma, seu Neném, mas fazer o quê, né, isso é conservadorismo de boêmio que aprecia o mesmo cenário. O sr. tem que melhorar as condições da casa. Servir melhor para servir sempre.

From my personal experience, there are occassions when softening up a photograph may possibly provide the digital photographer with a little bit of an artsy flare. Often times however, this soft blur isn’t just what exactly you had planned and can quite often spoil a normally good photo, especially if you intend on enlarging it.
