Perdemos, velho Mailer!

Adeus, mundo moderno, vou criar bodes na Chapada do Araripe, para onde me dirijo neste exato momento.

Diante dos últimos estudos científicos, arrazoados econômicos e observações particularíssimas, creio só nos restar uma saída: a retomada  da nossa vocação medieval e agropastoril.

A saída está no campo, nas montanhas ou no brejo propriamente dito.

É tudo que sobrou para a rastejante criatura do sexo masculino no século XXI. É, amigo, faça como este cronista, comece a comprar  também o seu pequeno rebanho de bodes e cabras. Os sinais da nossa falência como seres modernos partem de todas as fontes e disciplinas.

O economista e jornalista Reihan Salamd, em texto para a revista Forbes já soltou o rojão apocalíptico: “Podemos dizer agora, sem medo de errar, que o legado mais duradouro da atual crise financeira não será o fim de Wall Street. Não será o fim das finanças, e não será também o fim do capitalismo. Essas ideias e instituições sobreviverão. O que não sobreviverá é o macho”.

Segundo o mesmo rapaz norte-americano, de apenas 31 anos e uma fortuna no banco, a crise internacional encerrou definitivamente o domínio sobre a fêmea.

A tese do moço: até o fim do ano, 28 milhões de homens perderão o emprego e em conseqüência do baque psíquico estarão mais frágeis e infelizes do que nunca.

Não é à toa, diz ele, que na blogosfera de finanças e economia, a situação é chamada de “he-cession”,  um trocadilho em inglês para definir o peso do mundo sobre os ombros masculinos.

Para justificar o seu mote catastrófico, Salamd cita estudos que mostram como a cabeçorra do marmanjo é mais afetada por uma demissão do que a mente feminina.

E além disso, mulher, tem outra coisa, de acordo com o mesmo teórico: boa parte da ajuda dos governos para as instituições está indo para setores dominados pelas meninas –saúde, educação e serviços sociais.

É, amigo, a falência do mundo é masculina e muitas mulheres têm sido eleitas ou  nomeadas, tanto na política como na economia, em repúdio às barbeiragens dos canalhas.

O homem lesou e a mulher vai mesmo tomar conta do mundo.

No atacado e no varejo. Observe como em qualquer serviço as moças resolvem com mais rapidez e competência.

Fiquei impressionado outro dia, na recepção de um hotel em Santos, por ocasião do evento Tarrafa Literária, como o macho virou uma bobina, qual um carretel de cacimba de tão enrolado a criatura.

Era apenas um check in, amigo, um simples procedimento de hotelaria, mas quem disse que o rapaz decifrava as coisas?! Bastou chegar uma simpática mocinha e,pá, com dois toques no sistema, mostrou quão simples era tudo.

Sim, é somente uma cena boba do dia-a-dia, porém diz muito. Nem preciso falar que o representante do sexo masculino tem inclusive mais tempo de casa do que a senhorita. Seria espezinhar demais a nossa trupe.

Nas escolas, então, milhares de pesquisas revelam como as meninas dão couro nos homens abestalhados, incapazes de interpretar um texto.

É, amigo, nos restam as atividades agropecuárias e as trincheiras das guerras, velhas práticas dos selvagens.

Os machões dançaram, caríssimo Norman Mailer!

    Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
