Os joelhos contam a história de uma mulher

Amo mulheres por inteiro, até a sola dos pés, talvez por isso mesmo sempre volto para casa com as calças puídas, qual um romeiro, de tanto me abaixar no solo pátrio para beijar a última sujeirinha dos vossos dedos –o que é a ideia de Pátria diante de uma fêmea?.

Nada.

Amo mulheres por inteiro, mas tenho uma crendice, uma superstição de linguagem: mulher é metonímia, parte pelo todo.

Lembra dessa coisa do colégio?

Mulher é metonímia assim como fumo um cubano.

Mulher é metonímia assim como protejo a minha careca com um Panamá, pronto, chega de exemplos e didatismos.

Por mais que a gente ame um lindo diabo desses, sempre vai se concentrar num cantinho dela.

Liçãozinha de anatomia. Parte pelo todo.

Uns gostam de bundas, outros de omoplatas. Eu também aprecio. Nádegas.

Já fiz até o elogio das dores cinzas dos cotovelos, lembra, Maria, aquela ode lupicínica?

Mas gosto mesmo é de joelhos.

Ali a pessoa amada nos conta a vida.

Joelho é a biografia duma moça.

As quedas, as subidas, as vertigens.

No joelho está toda a mulher e sua dobradiça misteriosa que não carece de óleos.

A bicicleta, o skate, a rua, a trepada na pedra no acampamento, a distração, uma quedinha de nada no casamento, o porre, a existência, um descuido no pé de caju ou siriguela, como minhas lindas primas.

Joelhos.

Quando lembro dos meus mundos, só lembro dos joelhos.

É sempre minha primeira curiosidade sobre elas. Que queda foi essa?

Pense na rótula. Ah, sim, foi uma queda no carnaval de Olinda. Foi qualquer coisa, pelo menos se interesse, amigo, quando a mulher narrar a biografia dos seus joelhos.

Ela estará contando só o que importa.

Mulher é joelho, joelhos, os dois aos mesmo tempo.

Eu rezo por elas.

Não tenho religião fixa, mas elas são minhas devoções permanentes.
