O berro selvagem do "chupa" no futebol

Hoje é dia de “chupa”. Assim como toda quarta e todo domingo.
É o grande grito, movido a testosterona, que ecoa nos edifícios e botequins durante o futebol.
Uma leitora, que sugeriu o tema desta crônica, me pergunta se não vejo um certo homossexualismo enrustido, ou inconsciente, nesta linguagem berrada pelos machos.
Ela não suporta a “selvageria” e sempre tenta ir ao cinema para evitar a guerra do “chupa” no seu prédio no bairro da Pompeia.
É de uma deselegância sem fim, violenta mesmo, e já testemunhei pancadaria entre vizinhos aqui da rua Fernando de Albuquerque, travessa entre a Augusta e Consolação.
“Chupa, são-paulino”, berrou o vizinho corintiano do terceiro andar para o tricolor da janela abaixo.
Sururu na área. Deu polícia e tudo.
Ah, nós homens, esses eternos bobos selvagens, sussurram as moças a essa altura.
Como já escrevi na minha crônica esportiva na Folha, não faço ideia da data de criação e muito menos de onde surgiu o retumbante “chupa”. Faz ideia, meu amigo?
O escritor João Silverio Trevisan, no entanto, autor do genial “Seis balas num buraco só” (ed.Record) decifraria com facilidade o suposto grito macho.
O berro pode ser usado de várias formas.
Tem o genérico “chupa, são-paulino”, “chupa, gambá”, “chupa, porco” etc, quando o alvo é o clube, a entidade.
Tem o “chupa, Luxemburgo”, “chupa, Leão”, “chupa, Muriçoca”, quando o alvo é um técnico que desperta a fúria inimiga.
E tem o chupa fulanizado, dirigido nominalmente ao vizinho, ao amigo, ao garçom, ao dono do estabelecimento, no caso dos botecos.
Outro dia, ainda na Vila Pompéia, em uma casa dividida entre palmeirenses e corintianos ouvi um impensável “chupa, pai!” enfeitado com todas as exclamações possíveis. Coisa de tragédia grega.
O que acho inconcebível, pela falta de delicadeza, é o “chupa, fulaninha”, o berro medieval para uma amiga ou para a namorada fã de outro time.
Ah, esses moços, pobres moços que tratam as gazelas como se fossem os manos da esquina.
Sim, o macho está perdido e a fêmea se acha a bala que matou Kennedy, mas sem essa, amigo, sem revanche nessa hora, vamos dar bons tratos à bola, pegar no colo, deitar no solo pátrio e fazê-las musas, divas, as admiráveis e eternas crias das nossas costelas.
E o chupa é nacionalíssimo, com a sua variante forrozeira “chupa que é de uva”, como ouvi outro dia em Vitória da Conquista.
Quem chupa e quem não chupa este ano no futebol brasileiro? Tem “chupa” ai na sua cidade também?

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
Is that really how it is for you?

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
